How much does a used forklift cost?
Used forklifts typically range from $8,000 for a small electric pallet jack to $35,000+ for a low-hour 8,000–11,000 lb sit-down. Most 5,000 lb used Hyundai and Big Joe electric forklifts we sell fall between $12,000 and $22,000 depending on hours, battery condition, mast height, and attachments. Every Evolution used forklift includes a full shop inspection and 30-day powertrain guarantee.
Are used forklifts reliable?
A properly inspected used forklift from an authorized dealer is highly reliable. We refuse to sell any unit that hasn't been through our 50-point PDI (pre-delivery inspection), fluid and filter service, and load test. We also pull service records where available so you see the truck's full history before buying.
What's a good hour count for a used forklift?
For electric forklifts, under 8,000 hours is considered low-hour and 8,000–15,000 hours is mid-life. For LP/diesel IC trucks, under 6,000 hours is low-hour. Hours matter less than maintenance history — a 10,000-hour truck with documented planned maintenance often outlasts a 4,000-hour truck that was neglected.
Do used forklifts come with a warranty?
Yes. Every used forklift we sell includes a 30-day powertrain guarantee at minimum, and we offer 6- and 12-month extended warranty options on qualifying units. Ask about our Certified Pre-Owned Hyundai program for the strongest coverage.
Can I finance a used forklift?
Absolutely. We offer used-forklift financing, capital leases, and FMV leases through Hyundai Capital and third-party lenders. Terms typically run 24–48 months for used equipment. Rent-to-own is also available if you want to try before you buy.
Do you deliver used forklifts across the Northeast?
Yes. We deliver used forklifts throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine from our Hamden, CT facility. Delivery is quoted per zip code and typically ranges from $300 to $900 in-region.
